Ingredients

8 oz porcini mushrooms, reconstituted, finely chopped

4 tbsp olive oil

2 oz finely chopped shallots

2 bs filet mignon

4 oz (1 stick) butter

1 cup Marsala wine

1 lb spinach, cooked, excess water removed

2 cloves garlic, crushed



Difficulty: 2 | Serves: 4

Directions:

1 Reconstitute porcini: soak in 1 quart hot water for 6 minutes. Squeeze out excess water.

2. In a saucepan, heat 2 tbsp oil, sauté shallots until golden. Add filet, allow to brown. Add porcini. Add butter and wine a little at a time.

4.Cook until desired doneness, about 4 minutes for medium.
